LIFE GROUP DESCRIPTION: Join us for this study by Priscilla Shirer. Do you feel that the ability to hear God's voice is for other people and not for you? Is it only for people who lived in Biblical times? Not at all! The God who loved you enough to die for you loves you enough to talk to you. And wherever you are in your spiritual walk, God will find a way to speak to you in a way you will understand. Become acquainted with the Voice that has spoken from a fire and a cloud, with visible signs and an invisible Spirit, through a burning bush and burning hearts. Hear from some of the most well known Christians in history about how God speaks to them, and discover for yourself how you can discern the voice of God.
DAY/TIME: Monday Evenings, 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
START/END DATE: September 17 - December 3
COACH: Abigail Hicks, 810-434-5180
LIFE GROUP DESCRIPTION: Forgiving is not something that we just do by willful choice, but rather the effortless outcome of knowing the truth in our hearts. When trying to forgive those who have hurt us is difficult to do, it is because we believe something that runs contrary to forgiving. The answer is not trying harder to forgive, denying our feelings, or pushing through and just doing the right thing. The answer is in knowing the truth from God's perspective with our hearts about the one who has hurt us and the offense we harbor. When we are able to view the one who hurt us and their offense from God’s heavenly perspective, we will experience compassion and forgiveness from the heart will follow without effort. "Effortless Forgiveness" will help you to identify the lies that you may believe that are hindering your ability to forgive freely from your heart.
